How Do I?

Set Up My Card

• Check the Status of My Credit Card Application? Please call 800-947-1444 and choose option 1 for the status of an application. The potential cardmember will be required to enter his/her social security number to locate the application. Additional verification item(s) will be needed to validate.
• Complete My Credit Card Application
• Activate My Credit Card: Follow instructions that come with your card or call the appropriate Cardmember Service number to the right.

Update My Card

• Add a Joint Owner to My Credit Card: Log in to Internet Banking, and choose "Customer Service" on the left menu.
• Add an Authorized Signer to My Credit Card: Log in to Internet Banking, and choose "Customer Service" on the left menu.
• Change the PIN on My Credit Card: Please contact the appropriate Cardmember Service number to the right.

Manage My Card

• Log in to My Credit Card Account: Log in to Internet Banking.
• Pay My Credit Card: Log in to Internet Banking, and choose "Make a Payment" on the left menu to pay your credit card or to set up Internet Bill Pay.
• Set Up Alerts for Credit Cards: Log in to Internet Banking, and choose "Alerts" on the left menu.
• Sign Up for Online Statements: Log in to Internet Banking, and choose "Online Statements" on the left menu.
• View or Redeem My Credit Card Rewards: For several products, Log in to Internet Banking, and choose "Rewards Center" on the left menu, or contact the appropriate Cardmember Service number to the right.
• Request a Credit Limit Increase on My Credit Card or Premier Line of Credit: Log in to Internet Banking, and choose "Customer Service" on the left menu.
• Request a Balance Transfer to My Credit Card or Premier Line of Credit: Log in to Internet Banking, view your card and select "Request a Convenience Check" or "Balance Transfer".
• Contact Visa^® Buxx^® Customer Service: Log in to your Visa Buxx account, or call 888-310-2899.
• Download Credit Card Transaction Data for Use in Money Management Programs Such as Quicken: Log in to Internet Banking, and choose "Download Transaction Data" on the left menu.

Protect My Card

• Add Online Shopping Protection to My Visa or MasterCard® Credit Card: Learn about Verified by Visa. Learn about MasterCard SecureCode™.
• Change My Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode Password: Log In to Internet Banking, and choose "Security Center" on the left menu. By changing your U.S. Bank Internet Banking password, your Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode™ password will automatically be updated.
• Dispute a Charge on My Credit Card: Log in to Internet Banking, and choose "Customer Service" on the left menu, then select "Report Account Issues", or contact the appropriate Cardmember Service number to the right."
